Chigvintsev Accused of Assault

Artem Chigvintsev, a professional dancer on the television show "Dancing With the Stars," was arrested on domestic violence charges early Saturday morning, hours after celebrating his wedding anniversary with his wife, Nikki Bella. The arrest was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department, which stated that Chigvintsev was taken into custody at their home in Sherman Oaks, California, at around 2:45 a.m.

Bella Not Pressing Charges

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that Bella was the one who called 911 to report the alleged domestic violence incident. However, she has reportedly decided not to press charges against her husband. The reasons for Bella's decision remain unclear.

Chigvintsev was booked on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge and later released on $50,000 bail. He has not been formally charged yet, and a court date has not been set. The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office will review the case and determine whether to file formal charges against Chigvintsev.
