Dallas Mavericks Injury Report: Doncic, Kleber, Lively
Doncic Questionable
Luka Doncic is questionable to play in Game 2 of the NBA Finals due to a left ankle sprain suffered against the Toronto Raptors.
Doncic suffered the injury in the third quarter of Game 1 and was forced to leave the game. He did not return, and his status for Game 2 is now in doubt.
The Mavericks are already without Maxi Kleber, who is out with a calf injury. If Doncic is unable to play, it would be a major blow to the team's chances of winning Game 2.
Kleber Questionable
Maxi Kleber is also questionable to play in Game 2 due to a calf injury.
Kleber suffered the injury in the first half of Game 1 and did not return. He is considered day-to-day, but his status for Game 2 is uncertain.
If Kleber is unable to play, it would be a significant loss for the Mavericks. He is one of the team's best defenders and rebounders.
Lively Available
Dereck Lively II has been upgraded to available after missing Game 4 following an injury in the second quarter.
Lively suffered a left knee injury in the second quarter of Game 4 and did not return. He is now considered day-to-day, but he is expected to be available for Game 5.
Lively's return is a boost for the Mavericks, who are already without Kleber and Doncic.
